Linda MacKewn was born and raised in northern Ontario where she enjoyed an atmosphere of remote country living. She spent many years living on beautiful Lake Temagami where nature inspired her work.
Linda has studied under Bruce St. Clair from North Bay, Ontario & Robert Long, who resides in Destin, Florida. The Northern Ontario Art Association awarded Linda with the Bob Mackereth Award at its 38th Annual Exhibition and she received an honourable mention at the 1995 Juried Show at the Buckhorn School of Fine Art Gallery on the Lake. Her work is internationally known, finding its way to Australia, Greece and Singapore.
